Vidar, the silent one, is a god among the Aesir who is associated with vengeance. Vídar is described as the son of Odin and is foretold to avenge his father's death by killing the wolf Fenrir with his giant boot at Ragnarök, a conflict which he is described as surviving.

Vidar has been sculpted to appear weathered, and true to his original appearance, before being cast in a high quality plaster. Hand painted, each statue is special and unique, and may differ slightly from the picture.
